Oak Island Tours Inc granted Treasure Trove Licence

The wait is finally over for Dan Blankenship and other members of Oak Island Tours Inc, the team currently continuing the 200 year long treasure hunt on Nova Scotia’s Oak Island.

After a two year halt in what has become the world’s greatest treasure hunt, the team have finally been granted a Treasure Trove Licence (albeit temporary) allowing them to continue their search for treasure on Oak Island.

The treasure hunters were informed yesterday that they will be granted the necessary paperwork which will allow them to continue their search. However this licence will only allow them to resume their exploration until 31st December 2010. After this date, the Nova Scotian Department of Natural Resources/Tourism, Culture and Heritage will impose the new Oak Island Act, details of which have yet to be announced.

Could plug water inlets into pit. dig down into shaft and pump concrete into lines leading into pit. keep water from coming in and allow to dig in pit.? Like plugging oil well.

your half correct with this theroy
the first thing you need to do is use ground penetrating radar to locate both main tunnels.next drill
two 10-12" holes with caseings(one for each tunnel), next dump in about 2 yards of gravel in each hole as to protect whats in the pit, then pour in about 1 yard hydrolic cement in, let set for 1 hour, then pour in 2 addtional yards wait 24 hrs then try to back flush to ocean with dye
if no leaks pump water out. if there is still water penetration add 2 more yards to each hole.
If Dan Blankenship contacts me I'll furnish him with the plans

This person is half right. The first step is to get ground penetraiting radar to locate exact postion of tunnel about 60' from the ocean. then you need to drill a 10-12" hole with a caseing in it. next you need to put 3 yards af gravel in the main tunnel (to protect whats in the pit) next pour in a yard of hydrolic cement in hole.let set up for a hour next add in 2 more yards to plug flood tunnels. next back flush from the pit to the ocean with dye to see if you sealed the tunnel if so pump out pit let sit for a week too stabilize the walls of pit then begin to dig.If Dan Blankenship wishes to contact me for complete details and drawings
he may do so. Aureliano Rios
